It has been several weeks that Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar arrived home from their ‘extended vacation’ and we think its time to get some questions answered, and things explained.
After the arrival, several Czech media covered the news of their return. Unfortunatly we were not able to translate all these interviews, and not without a good reason.
In order to inform the English community and other media we have arranged a Interview with Ivan Buchta & Martin Pezlar, where you can ask Ivan & Martin your questions.
We will pick up the subject from the very beginning, and thus documenting the whole incident in a chronological order.
While Ivan & Martin are free on bail, the case aint closed yet. We think this interview is the perfect oppertunity to straighten out all rumours and accusations.
So send us your burning questions about the case in English. Please do not submit questions about Arma 3 that are not related to the case. We will moderate all submitted questions, so keep the questions civilized.
How can you submit your question(s):
- Leave a reply in the comments on this page or on facebook
- Make a topic & discuss the questions in our forums
- Email us your question via [email protected]
The recording date of the interview will be announced in the near future. - untill then : send us your questions!
first of all: Welcome back and congrats to the addition to your family, Ivan! Do you think that your arrest is in connection to your work on Arma 3 and especially the island of Limnos and its representation in Arma 3 as Altis?
Just tell the whole story, step by step, and maybe dispel the numerous (probably baseless) rumors.
So as i heard you will need to go back to greece.
Are you planning to go back there for the process? or you will send lawyers only, if the verdic would be really bad you just dont go to greece and avoid jail.
How were you treated in Greece?
I’m also curious as to what happens next. They are out on bail, I assume that means they must return to Greece for their trial when the strikes end?
Hello from Greece,
Welcome back to your home and an apologise for the long stay in jail due to the strikes. As you all are aware the country is in a really difficult situation and unfortunately you got in trouble in the middle of a storm and you had to pay for that for so many days. I really hope to the best of endings in this matter and good luck. My question is: Are you going to change the theme of the war in Arma 3 as to there will be no Greek resistance and Israel occupation with nato fighting the situation? Or are you only going to stay at the Only change of the name of Limnos to Altis?
I was really dissapointed to hear the change of the name to be honest but i understand the reasons you did it and i really hope you won’t stay appaled of my country! We are awaiting Arma 3 and DayZ standalone very much!
Why were you sentenced to prison, and will you ever be going back to greece to work on arma 3?
Hopefully all goes well with your trial and you can return home for good. Although I’m curious as to how the Greek authorities decided on that you two were conducting “espionage” and if you feel that they have singled you out due to your occupations?
So while you were being held, did they at least give you nice PCs to work on with super-fast internet connections? All that “free time” (excuse the pun) must have been really productive!
Guys, I’m so happy you are out finally. I hope that Greece can get the judges off strike so you guys can finally be rid of this whole ordeal. As to ArmAIII, my only comment is to please either leave the A10 in the game, or come up with something to replace it, say a futuristic version/reboot of the A10? I know it’s old, but so are lots of items already in the game, besides it’s had the service life extended to something like 2025 now.
But worry about ArmA later, go have some stiff drinks and try to relax. I would like to hear how everything happened and agree with the one post below that says it’d be best to just tell it all step by step do debunk any innaccuracy rumors may spread.
1. Has this incident soured or strengthened your view of Arma 3?
2. Is there anything the community can do to help with any future legal proceedings?
3. Can we get a run-down of exactly how the whole story really happened?
welcome back boys it’s good to have you home and seeing that you are well
greetings from denmark
I’m just happy they are back. =D
Out of all the postcards you received which one was your favorite?
Firstly, I’m glad you guys are back home, even if it is on bail and not officially pardoned like you deserve.
Given Bohemia Interactive’s reputation for attention to detail, how tempted are you to add yourselves to the game as the default civilians for rescue and escort missions?
Welcome back, i have a few questions on why this has happened. If Greece want to do anything, go to google because their “secret information” is there. We are glad that you are back and will petition to get back at your injusticed sentence
